Eleven domestic animals 3 horses, 5 cattles, 3 dogs) with 13 lesions (2 Equine sarcoid, 1 Exubearant granulation tisssue, 1 Treatment reflected & persistent wound, 1 Interdigital skin hyperplasia, 1 Digital dermatitis, 2 Verrucose dermatitis, 1 Haernangioma in vaginal mucosa, 1 Big pedunculated
teatfibroplpioma, 2 Perianal gland tumors and 1 Unidentified tumor) were selected. Cryosurgery was performed on 12 lesions out of 13 and 1 lesion (one of the two Equine sarcoid in a horse) left intact, inorder to observing tumor regression due to cryosurgical immunologic effect. 12 lesions were cured with no complication and the intact tumor regressed to one - tenth of primary dimension. In cases with probablitiy of recurrency, monitoring for longer time was achieved and only in 1 case (Perianal gland tumor in a dog) the tumor was recurred after 128 days follow up.

In ordre to compare the proteins of Trichophytonverrucosum, five isolates of this fungus, which obtained from human and animals, were chosen. The fungi were cultured on the specicfic media and incubated at 30 and 37 For preparation of protein extracts, the fungi were cultured in sabouraud’s liquid medium and Bradford method was used to estimate the amount of protein, as well. protein analysis was carried out by using SDS-PAGE with 13% polyacrylamide resolving gel and a discontinious buffer system. Gel staining was done by Coomassie Blue G250 and different bands were observed. Protein Patterns were scanned with a Helena densitometer. Fourteen protein bands with different molecular weights (Dalton), including 92250, 81280, 74990, 72440, 70790, 63100, 60000, 56890, 51880, 48420, 44150, 41680, 29150, 12730, were Detected from the supematant of samples. In the pellet of samples, 16 protein bands were illustrated which were the same as above and the molecular weights of the two remainders were 38020 and 34670 Da. There were no differences between proteins of supemataant and pellet of five Trichophyton verrucosum isolates. It is concluded that the different varieties of Trichophyton verrucosum, in respect to their proteins patterns, are similar.

Leptospirosis is one of the most important zoonotic disease spread all over the world with numerous reservoir hosts seen in wild and domestic animals. Etiologically, the disease can be transmitted to human through two ways of direct and indirect, and produces both icteric and non-icteric stages of infection.
In this study 427 serum samples collected from various area of Urmia for examination. The results of microscopic agglutination test (MAT) indicated that 62.5 percent were positive for leptospiral serotypes. Serum titers were equal or greater than 1:200 dilutions.
The most infection rate (18 percent) among cattles were in Dizejh-dol (A). Statistically, differences between area and positive and negatieve serotypes were not significant with (P

cardiopulmonary and analgesic effects of chloral hydrate alone and in combination with Mg sulfate, chlorpromazine or doxapram were studied in six healthy goats (weighing28.7±3.5Kg) at an intervals of 8 days: Group 1, chloral hydrate 5% (IV, to effect); Group 2, chloral hydrate 5% (IV, to effect); Group 3, chlorpromazine (2 mg/kg) followed by chloral hydrate 5% (IV, to
effect); Group 4, chloral hydrate 5% (IV) followed by doxapram (2 mg/kg, IV) 15 minutes later. Chloral hydrate induced deep sedation and recumbency at a dosage of 92..98±2.91 mg/kg. There was a significant reduction in the dosage of chloral hydrate in group 2 and resulted in asignificant decrease in arterial blood pressure. Doxapram significantly reduced the duration of recumbency compared to group 1 (37. 4±9.21 vs. 73.1± 10.2 min). Arterial blood pressure significantly increased following administration of doxapram. Premature ventricular contraction (PVC) was observed in one animal. Muscle relaxation was not complete and analgesia was assessed as poor in all groups. Induction of general anesthesia withh chloral hydrate was not successful and one animal died due to drug overdosage. The results of this study showed that chloral hydrate (alone or in combination) can provide deep sedation and adequate musde relaxation in goats but its analgesic effect is poor. Doxappram can be usedd to reverse chloral hydrate sedation in the goat.

The precordial leads (CV6LU,CV6LL,CV5RL,V10) were used for taking E.C.G from 100 Iranian German shepherd dogs, for determination of heart rate, different wave forms (P,QRS,T), intervals and voltages. Results showed that in the most dogs sinus arrhythmia was the normal rhythm. Heart rate was significantly different between dogs more thanl2 movths and less than 12 momth of age,but no significant difference was observed between male and female dogs. The P wave was positive in CV6LL and CV6LU. In lead V10, 81/8% was isoelectric and 11/1% positive and 7/1% was negative. The QRS complexes in all leads were different in shape. The P.R interval between dogs above 12 months and under 12 months of age in leads V10 ,CV6LL was
significantly different. Mean Q-T interval was also significant in leads CV6LL,CV6LU. Mean height of S wave in CV5RL was significantly different in dogs younger than 12 months compared with dogs older than 12 months of age being higher the latter group.

The purpose of this research that was carried out for 4 years was to establish a special diagnostic method for identification of salmonella typhimurium infections via examining the human and animal sera. To approach this goal, this research was done in three steps: 1- Preparation of the anti S.typhimuriurn hyperimmunesera and preparation of specific aintibodies against this bacterium. Therefore two kinds of animals i.e goats and rabbits were immunized with heated and formalized antigens of S. typhimurium during over 300 days. Double immunodifusion (ID) test revealed that sera of immunized goats detected 8 precipitation arcs and sera of immunized rabbits detected 4 arcs against heated antigen of S.
typhimurium at maximum with these immune sera we detected specific antigenic structure of S. typhimurium. 2- Development of an experimental salmonellosis in rabbits with S. typhimurium, S. dublin and .S. abrotus ovis. In this experiment, we distincted infected rabbits with S. typhimurium from other infected rabbits with, S. dublin and S. abortus ovis by ID test. 3- Identificaton of S. typhimurium infection by examining human & animal sera. In this step, totaly 2120 sera samples of human (309 amples) & animals (1546 cattle, 215 sheep and 59 camel) were examined by ID test.

At 0% KS with £ 3% NaCl, pH level ³ 5 and T of ³ 15CC did not affect the growth of organism and 1-7 cells of Salmonella inoculum could initiate growth in 1-13d (LP% 1.9 to 2). When 0.15% KS was added to the combination, pH levels of ³ 6.5 also did not affect the growth of organism, but reduction of pH value to 5.75, only at T £ 25 C the growth of organism was inhibited (LP% -1.15 to -4.15). At pH level of 5.0 with combination of T ³ 15CC and 0.15% KS, the growth of the all of inoculated cells were innibited after 43d (LP% -4.51). Histological structure of the digestive tract of Pena us semisulcatus of Persian Gulf and Oman sea studied by stereo and light microscopy. The cardiac portion of the stomach is armed with dorsal, lateral and ventral chitinous ridges, teeth and hairs suitable for mechanical digestion . The pyloric stomach is divided by ridges in to an upper chamber through which most of the food passes in to midgut and a lower chamber containing only fluid and fine particles, which can enter to the hepatopancreas and digested with its enzymes and absorbed. Midgut is a long tube in which some digestion and absorbtion of food happened and the waste material eventually voided. The structure of the whole gut are described.

Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) was used to examine the surface ultrastructure of adult worms of Haemonchus contort us. They possessed a small bucall cavity with a dorsal lancet,6 internal labial papillae,6 external labial papillae, 4 somatic papillae and two lateral amphidal pits. The cervical papillae were prominent and spine-like. The excretory pore was present. The male bursa had elongated lateral lobes supported by long, slender rays; the small dorsal lobe was asymmetrically situated against the left lateral lobe and supported by a V-shaped dorsal ray. On the ventral aspect of the genital cone, the “0” or ventral papilla was observed. The spicules were long, each provided with a small barb and pore near its extremity. The vulva of the female was covered by a Lingui form process or flap and the anal pore had a simple dorsal rim and a muscular ventral rim. On the lateral sides of the female’s tail, phasmidal apertures were observed.
