OBJECTIVE: This research was conducted to investigate the effect of betaine supplementation in broiler chickens under heat stress condition. METHODS: Two hundred one-day-old male broiler chicks (Ross 308) were used in a completely randomized design with 4 treatments and 5 replicates per treatment and 10 birds per each replicate. The experimental treatments were the heat stressed birds fed the different levels of 0.0 (without any dietary supplement), 0.05, 0.1 and 0.2% betaine. The experimental diets were added to the diets during the finisher period (day 25 to 42 of age) and under heat stress condition (32±1º C from 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM). RESULTS: The results showed that feed consumption was not affected by betaine supplementation. Consumption of 0.2% betaine resulted in a higher weight gain during the whole period as compared to 0.05 betaine and control diet (P<0.05). The consumption of all betaine levels caused the decreased feed conversion ratio during the finisher period (P<0.05) and 0.2% betaine resulted in lowest feed conversion ratio between the experimental treatments. Dietary betaine supplementation had no effect on internal organ weights of heart, liver, abdominal fat, spleen and bursa at day 42 of age (P>0.05). Furthermore, consumption of different betaine levels had no effects on blood indices, the amounts of blood enzymes and antioxidant status at day 42 of age (P>0.05). CONCLUSIONS: Totally, the consumption of 0.2% betaine improves the performance without any effects on blood indices and internal organs under heat stress condition.}, keywords = {Betaines,blood indices,heat stress,internal organ weights,performance}, title_fa = {اثرات بتائین بر تغییرات رشد و فراسنجه‌های خونی جوجه‌های گوشتی تحت تنش گرمایی}, abstract_fa = {زمینه مطالعه: کاهش عملکرد به دنبال تنش گرمایی در طیور اتفاق می‌افتد. هدف: این تحقیق به منظور بررسی تاثیر بتائین بر عملکرد، وزن اندامهای داخلی و فراسنجه‌های خونی در جوجه‌های گوشتی تحت تنش گرمایی انجام گرفت. روش کار: دویست قطعه جوجه نر یک روزه سویه راس در قالب طرح کاملا تصادفی با 4 تیمار و 5 تکرار و به ازای هر تیمار10 جوجه در هر تکرار استفاده شد. گروه‌های آزمایشی شامل جوجه‌های تحت تنش گرمایی تغذیه شده با سطوح مختلف صفر (بدون افزودنی بتائین)، ۰۵/۰، ۱/۰و ۲/۰درصد بتائین بودند. جیره‌های آزمایشی در دوره پایانی (25-42 روزگی) و در شرایط تنش حرارتی Cο1±32 به صورت دوره‌ای (9 صبح تا 5 عصر) به جیره اضافه شد. نتایج: نتایج به دست آمده نشان داد که مصرف خوراک تحت تاثیر افزودن بتائین قرار نگرفت. مصرف 2/0 درصد بتائین در کل دوره، افزایش وزن بالاتری را در مقایسه با سطح 05/0 درصد و جیره شاهد باعث گردید (05/0P<). مصرف همه سطوح بتائین در دوره پایانی موجب کاهش ضریب تبدیل خوراک در مقایسه با شاهد شدند و در این میان سطح 2/0 درصد بتائین پایین‌ترین ضریب تبدیل خوراک را در میان تیمارهای آزمایشی نشان داد (05/0P<). افزودن بتائین در جیره، تأثیری بر وزن اندامهای داخلی از جمله قلب، کبد، چربی محوطه بطنی، طحال و بورس در جوجه‌های تحت تنش در سن 42 روزگی نداشت. همچنین استفاده از سطوح مختلف بتائین در جوجه‌های تحت تنش گرمایی تاثیری بر فراسنجه های خونی، میزان آنزیم‌های خون و وضعیت آنتی‌اکسیدانی خون در 42 روزگی نداشت. نتیجه گیری نهایی: به طور کلی، مصرف 2/0 درصد بتائین در شرایط تنش گرمایی بدون تاثیر بر فراسنجه‌های خونی و اندامهای داخلی منجر به بهبود عملکرد جوجه‌های گوشتی می‌گردد.}, keywords_fa = {بتائین,تنش گرمایی,عملکرد,وزن اندامهای داخلی,فراسنجه‌های خونی}, url = {https://jvr.ut.ac.ir/article_65089.html}, eprint = {https://jvr.ut.ac.ir/article_65089_f18209aa2d309b6341c2519041f16247.pdf} }
