This study was carried out to deteimine the effect, of the metabolite of C.ndida spp. on 3rd stage larvae of the cyathostominae nematodes. The metabolite a saprophitic fungi, was a phenole proteine compound. The exposure of 3rd stage larvae to basic dilution of this metabolite and subsequently dilutions in 0.9 saline (1/5,1/10,1/15,1/20,1/25,1/30,1/40,1/50,1/60,1/70,1/80,1/90,1/100)
under laboratory condition (in vitro) revealed a significant reduction
in the nomber of larvae during 7 hours using Logrank test (P<0.0001). While the dilutions of1/1000,1/10000, and had no such effect.
