In ruminants thiamine deficiency occurs in various states and the polioencephalomafacia In concomitant with thiarnin deficiency. Sulfur is not only an essential nutrition for ruminant, but also, have theraputic effect on various diseases of animal. water and feed sources are full of sulfur as well, so that, after entering in rumen would reduce to sulfide. These are polioencephalomalacia factors, because, sulfur destructs thiamine and also sulfide damages to various cell membrane. in this survey 5 appearently heath female native Goats with 13-20 kg weights received the serial dilution 75, 50,25 from NaHs. lI20 with pH = (8.2)(2.3x 10 /0.75 kg BW) by intubation. In contrast, 3 goats received placebo. In the microscopic sarve the damages of central nervous system were elucitatec. In the analysis of the serum; CPK, AST, ALT, ALP and LDH were measured in healthy Goats and also after ingestion and occureance of clinical signs of toxicity. The results evaluated by Student ”t” tests. In this survey serum levels of CPK, AST, ALT and ALP had increased significantly, but LDH hadn’t.
