Corioptes bovis mites in cows : a case report from iran

Abstract

Chorioptes bovis is a mite found on the skin of cattle , horse, sheep,
goat , camel and wild ruminant. In cattle the root of tail is frequently
affected and if untreated the condition may spread to the other
parts of the body. C. bovis isolated for the first time from eight
dairy cattle 3-7 years old around Sharifabad , Tehran province.
