Abstract

Objective:A reporton a congenital malformation in a calf.
Design: Clinical case study.
Animals: Intrauterine dead Holstein calf.
Procedure: Fetotomy was not possible due to the lateral head deviation, therefore, cesarean section was performed in a 5 years old pregnant Holstein cow and a dead calf was expelled out of the uterus. Clinical observations revealed that a cranioshisis, partial anencephaly including arhinencephaly, holotelencephaly and some other defects were present. Fac. Vet. Med. Univ.
