In order to find out the impact of the freezing procedure on rabbit embryos, series of experiments performed in which 490 rabbit embryos were frozen by Niemanns method (1985).
After thawing and removal of Glycerol, eighty percent of embryos were in good condition. 180 embryos were cultured in two different media i.e., Whitten and Australian. The 78% of cultured embryos have reached expanded blastocyst stage.
