Abstract

Comparison of serological results on 100 select sera of sheep showed that qualitative correlation between direct agglutination test (DA) and dye test (DT), direct agglutination test (DA) and indirect immunoflurescent test (IFAT) were 97%, 96% and 99% respectively. Thus, in present study it is concluded that maximal quantitative correlatiton was between direct agglutination test (DA) and indirect immunof!urescent antiboy test (IFAT) and minimal quantitative corelation was between dye test (DT) and indirect immunoflurescent test (IFAT). Titration results of 100 sheep sera showed that the most frequent titers in direct agglutination test (DA), dye test (DT) and indirect immunoflurescent (IFAT) were 10240 ‘ ‘ respectively. In this study , the geometric mean titers in direct agglutination test (DA) was higher that two other serologic methods.
